Lee County was recently ranked, fifth, out of the states 13 counties that generated the most revenue through Airbnb’s. Vacation rental services generated around $1.4 million in tax revenue in Lee County in 2018. Airbnb allows users to rent homes, apartments and other housing facilities from the property owners.  There are currently over 45,000 Airbnb hosts in the State of Florida, and this is a great opportunity for property owners to earn some more money for their property especially during the busy vacation travel times. Prices of Airbnb rentals can be anywhere from $50 a night to over a $100 a night. This all depends on the location, amount of beds and bathrooms and the facility of the home.
