Navigating Cape Coral: Streets & Mapping Explained

Hey, it's Candace Decker with The Candace Decker Group of eXp Realty here in beautiful sunny Cape Coral, Florida. And if you are looking to move to Cape Coral or you just moved here, you're probably wondering, "What the heck are with these addresses and street numbers?" So I wanted to kind of give you the basics on how to navigate your way around Cape Coral because we have 400 miles of canals. So I'm here to help and here's the basics. The city is divided into four quadrants, Northeast, Northwest, Southwest, and Southeast. And that's divided North to South by Santa Barbara Boulevard and then East to West by Hancock Parkway and Embers Parkway. And if you look at street numbers, you'll notice it goes from one up into the fifties. So the further you get away from the city center, the larger the street number is going to get. And all avenue, places, courts, boulevards run North to South, and then roads parkways, terraces, streets, and lanes all run East to West. So once you get the basics down and you've been here a little while, it will become easier to navigate around. If you have any questions on how to get around town or if you have questions about buying or selling here in Southwest Florida, I'd love to talk with you. Go ahead and comment below.
