Sun Splash Family Waterpark 

Is the weather in Sunny Southwest Florida a bit too hot for the day? Well in Cape Coral there is a perfect place for you and your family to enjoy. Sun Splash Family Waterpark offers you 14-acres of water slides, pools and fun with it being the largest waterpark in Southwest Florida. Sunny Day, means Beach Day 

Southwest Florida has many beautiful beaches to offer for those in the area. If you are looking for a local beach to enjoy the day in the City of Cape Coral, head on over to one of the most popular beaches which lied right in your neighborhood, Cape Coral Yacht Club Community. The Yacht Club has been in function for over nearly 70 years, with it having many activities to offer for friends and even the family.   If you aren't in the mood for a day on the beach, you can enjoy the Yacht Club’s Fishing dock or even their community pool.  If you are willing to make the drive and are wanting to enjoy your day outside of the City of Cape Coral, go explore the beautiful close by areas such as Bonita Beach, Sanibel Island Beaches, Captiva Beaches, Naples Beach or Even Marco Island. Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve 

Enjoy the board walk or the nature of the 365 acres that the Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve has to offer in Cape Coral, Florida. The preserve is open from 8:00 a.m. until dusk year ‘round. They also offer you the opportunity to rent Kayaks at the Kayak Shack which is open seasonally from November through May from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Four Mile Cove offers the people of Cape Coral great opportunities of sightseeing which includes eagles and other migrating birds, snakes, alligators, etc. Put on your walking shoes or grab a Kayak and explore the adventurous side of Cape Coral.

Every January, the city puts on the Cape Coral Arts and Music Festival. Explore the Water  

 Whether it’s just going for a ride or spending you day on the water, explore what Cape Coral and Southwest Florida have to offer. There are several boat rental businesses in Cape Coral that allow you and your family to enjoy the day on the water. Depending where you schedule your rental, you can also enjoy a sunset cruise, fishing boat experience whether you rent by yourself or schedule a chartering boat.  Getting on the water not only means relaxing and take a stroll through the Caloosahatchee River, or even making your way out to the Gulf, but to also discover the ocean life such as dolphins, manatees and the native bird species. One thing to check on when you are on the water is the Wildlife Refuge for Manatees at the Sirenia Vista Park.

With several golf courses all throughout Cape Coral or even the Southwest Florida area, this is a sport that all can take part in whether it's for fun or even competition. One of the courses in the Cape is called Cape Royal Golf Club. They offer 27 holes open to the public which includes fairways, water hazards and sand traps, everything that you need to challenge and improve your game of golf. Another course in the area is the 18-hole Coral Oaks Golf Course. With a scenic view with over eight lakes and 37 bunkers, allows you to not only enjoy the game but to enjoy the atmosphere while playing golf.
